There is actually two full western books in this bundle. They are clean reads. They are safe reads. Both books have a lot of emotional conflicts that will not make it a light read but more uplifting reads. I cried with the second book during first chapter, so be warned.

First book is about a young doctor that is traveling by heroine's town by chance. He is pulled in to help with a case of what they thinkg is illness going around but later find out minors are being poisoned! The heroine/nurse and hero/doctor get to know each other as they work to find out what is going on. This is how their friendship and eventual love comes about. It is a slow building of love and I felt it was very sudden when hero breaks and declares his love. This book was kinda focused more on suspense of what was going on that the love story. Also, hero is already engaged and from the city. He had no plans to stay long in heroine's area. However, along the lines of them working they fall in love and decisions have to be made. It ends with HEA but no epilogue.

Second book was about heroine that has her husband and various family members killed during Indian attack. This book was hard for me to read emotionally. The first chapter you see heroine interact with her husband and he really did seem like a great guy. I felt the loss real hard. However, she lost her memory so when she is saved and eventually courted by hero in the trail you see them falling in love and eventually marry. In the end she has to come to terms with loss and new love. I understand her rationalization but I do believe she would have grown to love her first husband eventually. He was a good guy and it was sad what occurred. Yet, this book focuses on 2nd chances and moving forward from loss of loved ones. Very emotional read.

I would recommend this if you like reading clean reads with heavy drama. Not light reads at all in either of these books. They are well written.

A clean romance with some added mystery.
I really like the way Carré White writes and her characters are easy to relate to.
The story flows naturally and the character interactions feel honest and real.
